Seven Summers

A slightly predictable but lovely easy to read book, Seven Summers was a bittersweet love story that explored a wide range of topics and left me hoping that Liv would find happiness - in whatever shape it took. While I wish it ended differently, I still enjoyed it!

I expected this to be like November 9th and in a way it was, but the European setting and lingo I think threw me a little. I thought I’d like this a lot more than I did. I know it has a beach setting, but for some reason this didn’t hit like a good beach read. The pacing at the end was so odd. We spent so much time grieving for her parents and then like no time at all at the end. The ending also enraged me. It’s giving how I met your mother.

Hm I don’t know it didn’t really whoo me. I expected way more emotions but I always had the feeling I could predict the story so maybe that’s why I couldn’t connect properly to the characters. I always thought Finn to be way too selfish :(

Paige Toon is the Queen of Romance books.

Whenever I am in the mood for a good romance storyline I know Paige Toons books will deliver. An easy, heart felt storyline that while it had devastatingly heart breaking moments, managed to put my heart back together again in the end with the most heart felt, bittersweet and happy ending.

I loved every single one of the characters and felt that I could really connect to them. The plot and background for the story were amazing as always and made you feel like you were really there, amongst the characters, watching it all unfold.

Only reason for 4 stars over 5 was because Someone I used to know by Paige Toon will always be my favourite Romance book and while this one was good nothing can top that one. Can’t wait to get my hands on more of her books

I really wasn’t too sure about this one until the very end. I was back and forth about how I wanted her to end up with and kept getting disappointed and let down. But then the ending happened and I was happy and sad all at the same time! It’s hard to go into too much detail without giving it all away so I won’t

The perfect summer read!! ☀️

Really enjoyed this book and felt really connected to Liv. I found myself wanting her to be happy and rooting for her.
This book is definitely one to read if you want butterflies

However,
I hate that the minute Finn came back Liv went back to him even after knowing he wasn’t really going to commit to her

Love Tom’s character, Liv’s passion for art and the chemistry she has with friends
