Part of me wishes I would have read this in it’s hay day and part of me is glad I didn’t. It’s heavy in a real way, but also very YA in the wording, the concepts not so much, but also yes unfortunately. I will say I never saw where this story was going until we were there. I think the big honorary prank was told a bit rushed, but overall the healing journey was very real.

John green did an absolutely amazing job with this book. I just did not want to put it down once I got into it. It had me smiling , and it had me in tears. Amazing writing.

Probably my favorite John Green book so far. So much more meat than Papertowns. Alaska should be the next movie and I wish John Hughes was still alive to produce/direct it.
