Well, I loved this one almost enough to just give it the 5 stars, because it’s sweet and adorable and cozy and warm. It’s not very original, and I wish the ending was a bit stronger, but it was such a delightful read. Bits of Heartstopper. Bits of Aristotle & Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe. And sprinkle in a tiny bit of spookiness.

This gave me MAJOR heartstopper vibes, and honestly, it was so cute! The reason why i rated this 3 stars is because i went into this thinking it was gonna completely different from what it was! It was still so great, and i love Pax and sal, but i WISH the ending was longer as it felt so suddenly cut off! We could have had an epilogue or something to see how Ash was doing and how their mum was doing too!! Overall, though, it was a great read and perfect for halloween season!

Big heartstopper fan here and when I saw this on Amazon I just had to have it.
Friends to lovers with a splash of haunted house vibes..yes please. Was a little slow to start with but picked up and the story line was nothing like I’d thought it would be. I really enjoyed the characters and how the relationships developed, and although the romance between Sal and Pax was adorable it was Sal and his sister that stole the show for me, I really did feel for them in there circumstances and how they where strong for each other.
Cute YA perfect for halloween

Trigger warnings: death of a parent (in the past), grief, mental health, abandonment, car accident, bullying, homophobia

The blurb of this sounded delightful. Unfortunately, I mostly found this...dull? It's very light on plot and I spent probably half the book wondering what the actual purpose of the book was because there didn't seem to be any...drive to the story. It just felt like a series of vignettes about the same characters rather than a STORY itself. You know?

Anyway, it got there in the end. And I did like the way the story played out with Sal's family. It just felt like it took a long time to actually get to the point. And the haunted house stuff honestly felt like a distraction that wasn't necessary.
