I mean did I read this book or did I listen about it on Blinkist? Who’s to say? Felt to me pretty surface level stuff that us poories might want to keep in mind every once n awhile.

So many things make this book terrible, including the financial advice, that it's not worth writing out.

The best guide to financial I’ve ever come across. This book is instantly one of my favorites. Thank you for this knowledge Robert. Now I will work to apply it.

I took some valuable lessons from this book. It states some obvious things about economics that nobody teaches you at school.
Oh lord where to begin. Firstly I think this book was a REALLY drawn out book which wasn’t painful necessarily at first but the book got more and more repetitive and less relatable as it went.
First the tone of the book - I thought the whole “rich dad” and “poor dad” story was extremely odd. I think he thought it was a clever way of showing the world the two different financial outcomes but the references to his dads constantly really put me off. There was also this really unrelatable attitude about his lifestyle- he sort of used the book to brag about the success he had (majority in real estate) and how great and successful he was. It was a LOT of self complimenting going on which for 6 chapters I managed to navigate but as it droned on it got worse and worse and more repetitive.
The world needs less books like this and more relatable people to read and to educate them. The world doesn’t need more books like this one by Robert Kiyosaki. I would personally recommend books on investing , real estate, or how to get out of debt and build a safety net.
Then maybe a book on how to build a side hustle that helps you earn income (and some ideas) rather than this guy bragging about his time in the 90s that’s no longer relevant or helpful to our generations.
Cest la Vie Robert Kiyosaki.
