Basically, there's some good advice expounded over and over again. Lots of finance books are like this! Grrrrr. I think these people get a bit of advice and use it to make tons of cash by creating workshops and books. That's the real secret!
Kiyosaki's take on making money is that his own dad emphasized education, but never had enough money. His friend's dad knew how to make big bucks, so he followed this guy's advice which is to own lots of stuff that doesn't lose you money.

Really interesting advice. The challenge will be putting it into practice
A must read for every one that wants to get ahead and get out of the rat race.

This book was well-intentioned, and great as a motivational piece. As a practical guide to building wealth, not so much. There are a lot of cliches and platitudes that you've heard before--make your money work for you (i.e. invest), be entrepreneurial, etc. Kiyosaki's own side hustle (finding "hidden gem" properties, connecting them with buyers and collecting a finder's fee) is impractical for most people. It assumes that you have the expertise to not only recognize potentially valuable houses and lots, but also the connections and sales ability to find buyers so that you don't have to put any of your own money into the deal. But if all you're looking for is feel good advice from a rich guy, this is your book.
Passez votre chemin !

Worded for the average person who does not have a high interest in finance but wishes to improve their financial situation, with lots of examples and ideas that are repeated with new context, compounding the lessons learned, providing a solid foundation for understanding basic concepts while building upon them.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who does not have any financial background and wants to improve their understanding of finances and wealth.
The only detraction in the book is that the author's examples come from his personal experience and experience of people he knows. This limits the applicability of his examples if you take them at face value. To resolve this (in the 2020 version at least, not sure about the previous version or future versions), there is a study session at the end of each chapter. This includes a chapter summary, quotes to inspire contemplation of the concepts presented, and questions to help you apply the concepts to your own behavior and experience.

I would not have been as interested in this book had I not done it through a weekly book club. Highly recommend reading with an open minded and safe group.
I get it's a classic but the author has lost me at the point of advising people to go into multi-level marketing.
