Not the best, not the worst, but better than the first book
more enemies (more like dislike) to lovers vibes

the whole time i was reading this i was just thrown off because my cats name is rory and the mmc in this is called rory

This book was ADORABLEEEEE.

I loved this a lot more than I thought I would and honestly might go back and re-read the first book because I think it was a right book wrong time type of thing.

I absolutely loved Rory and Hazel and their dynamic. I loved the grumpy girl x sunshine guy and loved how his nickname for her wasn’t cringe but cute and funny. Like cmon fire breathing dragon has to be the most creative nickname to me!

I loved watching Rory slowly healing his inner child and Hazel showing him that he’s loved. She was so supportive and protective of him that I honestly was swooning for Hazel LOL.
