it's cute, but boy is it unnecessarily long.

imo practically insta-love, so the weak trials and tribulations just felt forced.
medium-paced

So this is the same book at the first but with “fake dating” (it’s in quotes bc it’s not really fake dating bc they like love each other the whole time)

Too much love bombing and just overall immaturity?? I know Connor wasn’t a main character but he sucked and Rory and hazels relationship was just childish? And like the whole team taking bets on the relationship? Idk it was super cheesy and tacky and just not enjoyable???

Same mommy and daddy issues as the first book, and ofc once people actually communicate then everything is just gets fixed?!?

3.8⭐️! this one's my fav of the series so far! rory was the biggest cutie

Rory Miller is what book boyfriends are made of. This fake dating (kind of second chance) romance had me kicking my feet; it was so cute at times.  The way he defends Hazel is the sweetest put slightly protective in a very hot way, and it is written in a way that makes you feel that he actually cares about her. We love a "bad" boy who really just had his heart smashed into pieces, but doesn't expect the FMC to put it back together. The spicy scenes are perfect!

Solid three stars.
cute fake dating to make her ex jealous.
i personally hated the short chapters maybe the story feel not connected and just separate scenes to get the plot going.
i’m satisfied with the resolution at the end tho it did feel a bit rushed.
