What a fun jaunt!

Mira and Naveen are the perfect accidental heist enthusiasts. Lots of chemistry, good twists and turns, and enough predictability to make it fun.

There were a few random personality traits that seems to be shoehorned in, and the ending definitely dragged on for too long, but overall this is a blast to read.

Like if Charade + Ocean's 8 + Thomas Crown Affair had a little Desi throuple baby. (Honestly, I swear this is a Bollywood movie I saw years ago and if I'm wrong, this book should totally get a Bollywood adaptation.) I enjoyed all the goofy plot twists while Naveen and Mira negotiate and unexpected second chance romance. A little more on the slow-burn side for an Alisha Rai, but I really had a lot of fun.

Your last match just dumped you. Your aunt is dead and you have to go to her lawyer's office to hear the will. Where you run into one of your first matches - that you left and dumped over a text message.

He doesn't know everything about you / your past, but you are both taken by strange men when you leave the lawyers office. you are on a mission to find a necklace that "Cobra" wants that your dead dad supposedly had.

You go on a wild goose chase - reunite with a childhood best friend - rekindle the flame with the lawyer. Oh and find out that your mom is Cobra, she's going to kill you and your sister, except your aunt, who isn't actually dead come to save the day. Your aunt is in witness protection, so she is basically dead to you because you won't be able to see her again.

Also you find the code to a crypto worth a lot of money and turn that over to the FBI.

And then you and lawyer get married.

towards the middle/end of the book, it fell incredibly short. i wasn't really reading for the action anymore and instead only reading for the romance, (which was super anti-climatic, by the way, just like the ending.) i'm SO MAD because i waited a grand total of TWO WHOLE WEEKS for this book and it has the audacity to be less than phenomenal?? all in all, i would still recommend it because it managed to capture my attention pretty easily and was super fun
