Michelle Obama

4.57 AVERAGE

How a woman with limited oportunities became the first woman, an example for all the young ladies. This book was so inpiring, maybe as with all biographies it's somehow edited to glam her life as make ir even more inspiring but it's ok for me. I like to come back and read some chapters Now and then. Is it because I'm a Michelle fan?

I found this book fascinating, and uplifting. One week away from elections and it was interesting to see what it was like from the inside for a short amount of time when Donald Trump was elected president.

4.5 stars! This was a moving, memorable book. Obama does such a wonderful job of exploring the complexity of a life lived in the shadow of the US President, the further complications of being a black woman from “the wrong side of town”, and the compromises and sacrifices made for something much bigger than herself. I think many, many women will empathize with her situation, and see themselves in her story.

I listened to this on audiobook. I loved this experience as it is read by Michelle Obama.

This book follows her life from being a child in Chicago and through her time as First Lady. It is so interesting.
It is written so beautifully and was moving in parts.
A 5 star read.

I truly enjoyed this memoir and I’m so glad I listened to Michelle Obama read it herself. I have whiplash from reading this so soon after reading the hot trash that was Rodham.

Wow! I’m so glad I listened to Michelle read her beautiful story. I was right with her the whole way. What a strong, classy, beautiful lady. She shares many stories that any one of us can relate to.

This was a fantastic read. I loved getting a glimpse into the Obama past and enjoyed getting to know more about Michelle. I have a great deal of respect and admiration for her.
