Well....this was boring! I somewhere read a description: This was such a snore fest! And it really was!
I don't usually write reviews but I wanted to write this one because I feel I have so much to say.
I was expecting so much from this book. And my expectations were met towards the end of the book.
In the end she finally speaks about important things. Up to that point all I got was a beautiful, smart and rich woman whining about being rich and powerful!
I still think they are a beautiful family, two really smart and nice people who tried to change the world.
I just feel like she had so much more important things to talk about besides these.

I admire Michelle Obama, so I was excited to read her book when it was selected by our book club. The book is easy to read and her voice comes through loud and clear. It feels like she’s chatting with you. I enjoyed this book.

4.5 stars! Listened to the audiobook read by the author. Such a cool view into their lives, thoughts, and perspectives. I enjoyed getting to know Michelle’s personality though her writing and listening to matters that are important to her. Because they are important.

Rating memoirs is increasingly hard. Love Michelle, love her message, love her story— it is especially needed now; however, I find myself wanting more from the writing itself.
