Is this good? No. Is it fun? Yes. I would definitely count this book as Trash-ish. The only ish is that you can tell that Trash was not the author's intention, and so I apologize for this designation.
BUT. Come on. The adults trying to praise this child and then the teenagers being more okay with it than the adults? Ideal. Hilarious. 10/10.

You lost me when the hero ran over the heroine with a car and then brought her back to life. (At least, that's how I interpreted that crazy scene.)

So, a little eh, because it is YA. I'm not really a big fan of any of these characters...but I'll keep going.

Also, this book toed the Twilight line. This girl is talking about being in love with an angel after DAYS of meeting him? Is this what we should be teaching our young girls? Fall in love right away, even though he is weird and slightly stalking you? And seriously, does Darynda Jones have a copywrite on the phrase "Heat pooled in my abdomen."?kirby2002's review

2.5 stars. I have very mixed feelings about this. I liked the story and most of the characters. I had a huge problem with Lorelei's "insta-love" with Jared. I can't count how many times I rolled my eyes whenever she was around him. It was very textbook story-line. The girl isn't popular, a mysterious boy shows up, girl falls in love with the boy, the boy has a hidden past and so on. But I really liked the rest of the story and the secondary characters. I will give the 2nd one a chance because I really like Darynda Jones.

For me this was and average good book I'm quite curious how it's gonna continue. Is it bad though that I like Brooklyn\Cameron\Glitch more than the two main characters?
