"I'm an orphan raised by carnies fighting with a stick and a string from the Palaeolithic era." - that's almost all you need to know about Clint Barton. Clint's self-deprecating humour as he deals with characters such as the "tracksuit mafia", Russians who continuously say "bro" until you can't get it out of your head like it's some frightening chant, is absolutely what makes this series. Not only this, but Clint standing up to help people in his apartment building makes him feel more human than a lot of the superheroes I've head about. And rescuing the dog is actually heart-warming. It's hard not to immediately love Clint.

I was on an MCU marathon and suddenly wanted to read comics about the Avengers, so I decided to start with Hawkeye, whom I don't know very much about.
In this series, Clint is not like the one on MCU,, but lives alone in a building with a landlord who seems to want to evict everyone.
Clint has just gotten out of the hospital, I'm assuming after an Avengers battle that left him with quite a few broken bones, and upon his return immediately gets into trouble with what seem to be members of the Russian mafia.
Interesting tidbits about Hawkeye's past and beautiful artwork. I'm looking forward to reading more.
