Such a dramatic and also somehow tragic end to a beautiful series. Always my favourite.

solo quattro stelle perchè a mio avviso l'ha tirata troppo per le lunghe con cinque dannati libri... il finale un po' meh.... e in questo ultimo volume troppo poco Carter... il triangolo è stato gestito male a mio avviso... comunque niente male!

I don't usually write reviews if the book didn't affect me in some way whether it was a positive or negative feeling.

To begin this review I just have to say I was reading this book in tears, I'm not joking. I connected with this book, characters, their development and their relationships. I must admit I was crying a river when there were parts with Sylvain even though I was all the way with Team Carter. I don't know I just felt like I was a best friend with Sylvain not Allie. I believe many readers were probably crying while reading the last chapter. It was just so beautiful. I felt really empty when Sylvain left for good just like Allie felt. I was sad crying throughout the whole book. Until the new students started arriving. I was so happy and thrilled that everything happened like they hoped.

Even though I am a proud Potterhead, THIS BOOK WILL ALWAYS BE BETTER THAN HARRY POTTER SERIES!

I wish there was a sequel or tweet, facebook status just to see what C.J. Daugherty thought about what happened next. Did Christopher finish Cimmeria and went to university, what happened with couples in the school, with Zoe. Is Aurora doing well? We need some answers what happened next. Almost forgot what happened with Sylvain, did he return, has he forgiven Allie. Has Nathaniel done something to characters from this wonderful series? I just hope some of this questions get answered.

To finish this bad written review I LOVED THIS BOOK FROM BEGINNING AND I DON'T KNOW IF I COULD EVER FOUND BETTER BOOK SERIES THAN NIGHT SCHOOL. THANK YOU C.J. DAUGHERTY FOR WRITING THIS MASTERPIECE. THANK YOU

"Uvek."

I found it reasonably satisfying, but not as exciting as the previous books. For me, the pacing was a little off, because the book was moving very slowly in the first half (a bit more than half) and the ending felt rushed.
I hated how Allie procrastinated breaking up with Sylvain, that was just unnecessarily cruel and made her look pretty selfish, or at least like an emotional coward. Makes me wonder how a person turns out when they're under this much stress and suddenly rich and important at 17.
Overall there was unfortunately barely any personal or relationship plot, it felt entirely focussed on Nathaniel, freeing Carter and Lucindas legacy.
I actually loved Allies initial reaction to heiring all of Lucindas wealth, so much responsibility, what a nightmare! I could imagine that a lot of people would react that way.

So overall, I'm happy with how things ended, even if this wasn't my favorite part of the series. It was probably a good point to end without it dragging on for too long.
