Holy balls they did it again!

I’m not even surprised to be heart broken, but damn the cliff they left us on this time is a true WTF...I’m sure I’ll be saying that until the next book comes out.

They wrote the hell out of the last chapter, it was heart breaking and completely perfect.

The story picks up right where Rising left off and Squad 312 is in the shit right off the bat. This group of to smart for their own good asses can’t seem to stay out of trouble.

The intro to some awesome new characters and revelations about some old ones come to light...and damn if you’re not saying DAAAMMMNNN through this whole book.

It’s witty, fun, an adventure, heartbreaking and one hell of a ride.

I have to say I’m very worried about what will happen to these poor babies....Jay and Amie didn’t leave me with high hopes, but knowing this duo they can write any characters out of any situation. I’m excited to see how things and truths unfold in the last book.

Read it and have your heart break with me!

They better not all be dead.

okay everyone reviewing this book lied to me. the ending is not a big deal.. it’s a YA book, everything is gonna be fine you guys.
I found Kal and Aurora’s story to be so boring that I literally don’t care at all what happens to them. I am just here for Zila and Fin. And maybe Tyler.
I like this series for the squad dynamics and fun adventures. So the first half of this was a great time. But once the Eshvaren got involved and it started being all about this great destiny and ~saving the galaxy~ I just got bored. I hope book three gets back to the fun times.
It also suffered from using one of my most hated tropes- everyone conveniently forgetting their whole experience with a friend because they find out they were ~lied to~ about something that is really /not a big deal/ and they abandon them without giving them a chance to explain. smh

Oh these are just so fun. Even when I figure things out before they’re revealed.
