Ok wow this was epic!
Some things I loved:
• It’s so hilarious? Their constant banter and sass and they’re a disaster so that’s definitely entertaining.
• There are so many great characters!
• There is so much action and I definitely held my breath a couple of times.
• The audiobook is AMAZING and I just really enjoy the authors’ writing style.
• There were some good twists and some scenes just blew my mind.
Some things that were a bit meh:
• I’m not sure how I feel about the romance and certain ships.
• I don’t love all of the main characters (I don’t hate any of them but one kinda annoyed me a bit) and I definitely preferred some POVs over others.
• Some things were a bit repetitive.

What. The. Heck. Where is the ending!! It’s late and I need to sleep but that cliffhanger left me full of adrenaline. Seriously not cool. But also pretty awesome. I need the last book. Why is the last book not out yet?
In other news... fun book using some standard tropes in some fun ways. Question though, does everyone have to end up together with someone? Because it almost seems like they do here. Also the variety of bad guys was good. And one of the twists I didn’t see coming but the hints were all there. It was fun. But why is there no ending yet!?! Soon, Amazon is telling me. I hope it’s right, with the way publication dates are this year.

I have so many questions that need answers.
Absolutely amazing book. I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to move onto the next one.

After finishing Aurora Rising I was incredibly excited to read the sequel. But I was also slightly apprehensive as I enjoyed the first one so much and I didn’t want to be let down as sequels are rarely as good as the first book, however I was not let down. Aurora Burning had the same level of pace and excitement as the first book and was a great addition to the series.
The book continues a little after the final events of the first book where squad 312 is attempting to find the weapon to save the galaxy. In this book we gain further insight into the character’s past, especially Kal and Zila, who shows exceptional growth from the first book.
I was a little sad about the decrease in fact pages in contrast to the previous book and the ones that were there seemed to be telling us similar, if not the same information as the last book. I felt that these were a great worldbuilding tool and it’s a shame they weren’t continued to the same frequency and quality as in Aurora Rising.
The plot is absolutely brilliant there are so many unexpected twists and there are some very exciting events that occur. I loved the development of the relationship between Kal and Aurora, and I really grew to like Aurora in this one. She was a lot more interesting and less irritating and I feel like this has come from proper development and progression of her character.
Overall the sequel was as good if not better than the first one and I would definitely recommend if you enjoyed the first book.

I LOVED every part of this book except for the part that it ended. Like Aurora Rising, it was filled with fun banter, a fast plot and characters I would die for. I kept turning page after page and never wanted it to end and now that it has, I have absolutely no idea what to do with my life.
Отне ми 3 години да завърша тази книга, но просто беше феноменална! Нямам търпение да започна третата и се надявам да не довърша нея през 2026.
