i love this squad of misfits with my whole heart and the ending for this book has my DISTRAUGHT. but a hold for my most anticipated book of 2021 came in so book 3 will have to wait.

Okay this took me a lot longer to finish than I'd intended it to. As fun as the story is, it leaned a little heavily on what I consider young adult/ teenage booktropes.
As such, I found parts, especially towards the middle of the book, where it was too predictable. It was hard to read more than just a page at a time.
However, the first 200 pages and the last 100 pages really pick up the pace, and and got me engaged and enjoying it. It's just that middle part that really took me the 2 months to read.
The ending though, really grabbed me and now I think I'm going to probably pick up the third one a lot sooner than I intended.
So here's to Squad 312.

I’ve been seeing a reviews saying that this book is action backed but was I really prepared for how action backed it was? If Aurora Rising was going 65mph in a 40 then Aurora Burning is just fucking gunning it. From the get go the actions starts and it doesn’t stop. Our hero’s don’t get the time they deserve to take a moment to recuperate and deal with all the event of Aurora Rising, they’re just thrown into the chaos that is book 2. And gosh is it a good book. If you though Gemina was a crazy sequel then just wait until you read this one!

Audiobook is amazing. I finished it in 3 days. I loved Fin even more. I would get lost sometimes but it was expected. That ending was unexpected. I’m upset.
