This is one of those books where 70% is too slow and 30% is way too rushed. Unfortunately, all the stuff that was rushed was the really good stuff. There are some killer plot twists and some really fantastic action, but overall there were parts that weren’t thought out that well in terms of pacing.

ok so the plot and how the authors wrote the story was amazing… but the characters not so much. i try not to rate my books based of the characters in it and i focus on the overall story, but so much icked me about some of these characters. first i love all so much but i feel like he lost his personality and then just focused on auri, which i didn’t like but hopefully he finds himself in the next book. THEN THE CHARACTERS RESPONSES TO MOST OF THE PLOT RWIST WERE SO ANNOYING. but other than the lack of individuality in the characters this books was a def 3.5.
