WHAT JUST HAPPENED??? I'm gonna need counseling after this series. It continues to break my heart with every book. I really enjoyed spending some quality time with each of the characters and getting to know them better (Especially Zila). They crack me up with their shenanigans and make my heart warm from their loyalty to each other. Which is why certain happenings in this book really kinda broke me. Not that it didn't make for a good story. The heartache was 1000% worth it. Was Aurora Burning as good as Aurora Rising? No, not really. I'm not sure much can top Aurora Rising and the way it shattered me. But this book was still very good. There were parts that slightly irritated me with some inconsistencies with personalities (specifically Aurora), but it wasn't so much to really bother me. Overall, I would recommend this book for those who liked the first one, just be prepared for the rollercoaster of feels. Note: Some cusswords/innuendos.

I highly recommend the audiobook over the physical book. It has multiple narrators and music in the background, very easy to listen to. Also, it is quite a repetative book (scar and tyler are twins, scarlet has red hair, everyone is good looking, auri's uni-glass gets told to go on silent mode, etc) - but that actually works well as an audiobook IMO. If you miss a little bit you will hear it again later.

Some twists and turns in this one that were good, and that ending... Well I'm glad I don't have to wait a year for the next book let's just say!

Second time read & review.

I am freaking the freak out with this re-read guys. Aurora Burning was jam packed with so many things that my mind feels like it's going to explode. Like a watermelon on a hot freak day - boom! I don't even think I've fully processed what actually went down and what might be coming my way with the next book.

Which, yes, I'm so excited to dive into that beautiful ARC because hot damn - I need answers people! I would also like everyone to be alive. Mostly because I don't think I will be able to handle any of their deaths well. So right now I have no idea what to do with myself because I had hope, so much freaking hope, for Cat.. but ugh. Now I don't know!

I just need answers and happiness people. Is that too much to ask for? On to the next book!

Holy crap guys!

First off, what kind of ending was that? I mean Aurora Burning was definitely setting me up for something because it was torturing me with each page and chapter. Yet, I didn't expect that kind of ending. I honestly have no idea how to process anything right now and I'm so sad because I have to wait for another book.

These dreaded cliffhangers are going to kill me one day.

Second, I am loving seeing all my babies again. It was also nice to have this book start right where the previous one ended. Which means I wasn't that confused with anything that was happened.. yet. Yeah, not going to lie.. I have so many freaking questions about so many things and I'm hoping that I will get some answers and happiness in the next one. Seriously, I just need my people back together again.

Last, but not least, I really enjoyed this book! Even if it was the audio because the narrators did such a great job with everything. Ugh, I don't want to wait for the next one and really wished I had it right now.
