I loved the banter in this book! It was such a cute holiday book!

Clause and Effect is a strangers to lovers, opposites attract, found family holiday read. This is Tre and Tessa's story and I couldn't put this one down. It's a slow burn, steamy romance with all the feels and so much banter. You will be laughing out loud at their antics throughout. This is a fun holiday read you don't want to miss out on.

The banter between the two was pretty cute, but it was very predictable. Which isn’t a bad thing! It’s just missing something for me. Also, the fact that the town is called Climax Cove?! I can’t

This is a perfect holiday romance book! Cute and festive without being too cringy. Yes it is a little corny here and there, but it is a Christmas-themed book so what do you expect?? I enjoyed this so much more than I expected. Fun crazy plane and roadtrip story, well-paced, vibrant characters, I enjoyed every second! There were no lulls or boring dragging parts of the story.

The romance happens quickly over a short road trip, but the development of their feelings is so genuine. I absolutely love Tre and Tessa

Loved it!!! The perfect Christmas romance. Loved the characters and the ending! Can’t wait to read more by this author!

A cute end to my holiday reads (at the end of January). Tessa and Tre were fun characters and I enjoyed getting to know them more as the story went on. There were places where there were more details trying to add some depth to each of them, but it felt a little rushed or not cohesive. Even so, their journey was full of fun pit stops and meetings. Overall, I enjoyed it!

I loved this Christmas, enemies to lovers, found family, opposites attract romance so much!! Tre and Tessa’s meet cute was hilarious and I loved everything that followed!

This story felt very predictable until the completely unexpected plot twist! I totally didn’t see it coming and I was here for it! I loved the story and the characters so much!

Lee Samuels and Brooke Bloomingdale’s performances were phenomenal. Their voices were so soothing and I loved the passion they had when voicing these characters!

Rating: 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a complete laugh out loud, adorable, meet-cute that I couldn't put down once I started it! Tessa feels like she has lost it all! She has no job, no family, nothing, except the musings of a psychic who tells her that she should head west, to connect with the dark haired man, who loves his family. This can only be her ex, that headed home for the holidays.

Tre is the gorgeous army ranger that takes Tessa's first class seat on her journey west. Thus starts the journey from hell. The plane is diverted, the snowstorm that blows in, the car that overheats to name just a few of the roadblocks put in their way, Tessa and Tre team up to try to make it to Portland by Christmas.

And then comes the bombshell you didn't anticipate! It is fantastic. This is an amazing read that you don't have to save for Christmas! Love it!.

Claus and Effect may share loose ties with Single and Ready to Jingle, but this new holiday romance from the writing duo of Piper Rayne totally works as a standalone. This was a fun addition to my holiday romance pile, which is slowly but surely growing. Tessa and Tre's story had some major enemies-to-lovers feels and the tension was palpable between these two main characters, but they also brought loads of humor as they joined forces to make their way to Portland. It took a bit for me to see Tessa and Tre clicking, but once that chemistry and compatibility clicked in, there was no way I couldn't cheer them on to their merrily-ever-after. Four stars!
