I really enjoyed this manga. This is a reread for me.
It is an interesting story. Light is an interesting main character.
He gets a notebook that has the power to kill without being near them. It is interesting that he tries to rid the world of those who do crimes.
Then the police gets involved with it and try to find the one doing this.
The characters and story is interesting. I really enjoyed my time rereading this story.
I am excited to read the rest of this series.

As much as I love Deathnote, it does have it's issues. The most noticeable is the lack of female characters. There are 4 total in these 2 volumes. Lights mother and sister who he is constantly rude to and is obviously written as being smarter than both of them. The 3rd is a girl he went on a date with. ultimately she was nothing more than a plan to move the story. The 4th had a chance, but it was shot down by *****SPOILER***** Light finding a way to murder her because she was onto him.
I think I fell in love. BRB, must go to the library now. Fuck my tbr also.
