I enjoyed this, it made me laugh out loud. Bill Nighy was a super narrator, and really made it a pleasure to listen to.

Combining Kafka and Brexit sounded like fun, but it did not add up to much in the end. There were some good ideas, but overall you mostly get the impression that the author wrote for his own amusement, and it got published only because he’s a famous and respected author. At least it’s a very short read!
dark funny fast-paced

A cockroach wakes up in the body of the British prime minister in this Kafka reversal. And reversalism is the economic policy being pushed by an almost complete cabinet of cockroaches turned ministers. Yes, the satire is a bit thick. I smiled quite a bit while reading and at about 100 pages it was not a struggle to read but ultimately I think it misses the mark.
