This is the first Lee Child/Jack Reacher thriller I’ve read and I liked it a lot. Liked how the tension built as the clock ticked down and the way Child uses the savage weather as almost another character. Tight writing and great characters.

Awesome, as always.

Child knows what he's doing. Gripping as always.

Macho fantasy that is the stuff from which action movies are made. Entertaining but not realistic.

This was one of the slower Reacher books. Which I'm good with. Not sure how I feel about the ending though…

Some of the threads in 'Worth Dying For' make a little more sense now (I unintentionally read out of order) and I enjoyed the story and setting in this one. Quite an adventure with a premise so crazy it just might be true.

Good entry in the Reacher series, these books seem to have hit there stride. It was a fast moving, easy to read detective story complete with a storm blowing into a small midwestern town and trapping everyone there. Very good book for a holiday weekend.
