I love all the books so far in this series and eat them up!
Mayumi is a badass monster hunter who can hold her own but I love to see her get vulnerable with Faunes. Faunes is my favorite duskwalker (I haven't read the rest of the books so that might change) he is so sweet but sassy just like a cat. Anyone who loves a monster romance and tentacles needs to read these books!

Wow! Ya know, i always think that the next one can't possibly get better and im proven wrong each time!
The storytelling is so fluid and immersive. I love how unique the characters are in each book.
So im gonna try not to spoil anything!
For book 3 i wasn't exactly in love with the FMC, but thats not a bad thing. The author does a fantastic job of creating very real characters and that means sometimes im not gonna enjoy how they handle stuff lol. She just irked me at points with her attitude but her backstory lets you understand why she is the way she is.
The MMC was wonderful, i loved the duality of his personality. A few times i wanted to shake some sense into him lol. To see how they grew together throughout the story was very satisfying.
As always the smut is TOP TIER monster lover gold.
