Most of the book was honestly amazing , the only part that disapointed me was the whole love triangle thing. Plus it really needed more romance I was going crazy by all the tension in the book. I felt at the end it wasn't even resolved. Its like Lucas had to push Helen away, even though it wasnt working for the most part. Then she starts falling for Orion while Lucas & Helen still want eachother , badly. I'm not even sure how I feel about Orion honestly. His and Helen's only to kisses were under really shaky and extreme circumstances so I'm not even sure if they're considered real. Oh , how I HATE love triangles & it sucks because its all that *thinks unladylike word* Daphne's fault she started all this with her lies! Then at the end how everyones just friends , it really just weirds me out. (plus considering what happened to the 3 of them that is so weird ). Besides the love triangle bit the book was honestly amazing. Loved how things progress between Claire and Jason , also Ariadne and Matt. I lurned to like Zach through the book too. Oh and I just LOVE Hector even more he's so awesome I swear. But like always TEAM LUCAS !!!!!!! We must remain loyal because he is awesomeI'm just hoping in the next book that this love triangle thing will dissipate , the truth will come to light and Helen & Lucas will be happy & there better be MORE romance in the next book for crying out loud !With that being said I will indulge Jennifer L Armentrout's Onyx because I know she's never give me a love triangle plus i NEED more Daemon in my life.
The beginning of this was slow going and I feel the author could have summarised the number of underworld encounters. But, I read this instalment avidly and voraciously for someone with a full time job and 5 year old.
Once again I got MAJOR Twilight vibes with the love triangle, but the twist was a pleasant surprise. I honestly can't wait to see what happens next.
While this is not the most AMAZING second part (or series) I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The second book in the starcrossed series from Angelini and this series is just getting better with each book, we pick off from where the first one ended and I found there was alot more going on, which kept me hooked and wanting to find out what happened next. I also loved the fact we have someone else new brought into it, who we get to learn about while also seeing the love triangle that is on the horizon. I also really enjoyed how we get to read how each of the different characters develop not only within the friendship and family, but also with their own powers or sense of strength and finding oneself.
I really enjoyed the plot line that is developing into a bigger than this world problem, while having those moments of fun and being in a bubble amongst them.
Synopsis
Can true love be FORGOTTEN?
As the only Scion who can descend into the Underworld, Helen Hamilton has been given a nearly impossible task. By night she wanders through Hades, trying to stop the endless cycle of revenge that has cursed her family. By day she struggles to overcome the fatigue that is rapidly eroding her sanity. Without Lucas by her side, Helen is not sure she has the strength to go on.
Just as Helen is pushed to her breaking point, a mysterious new Scion comes to her rescue. Funny and brave, Orion shields her from the dangers of the Underworld. But time is running out - a ruthless foe plots against them, and the Furies' cry for blood is growing louder.
As the ancient Greek world collides with the mortal one, Helen's sheltered life on Nantucket descends into chaos. But the hardest task of all will be forgetting Lucas Delos.
Josephine Angelini's compelling saga becomes ever more intricate and spellbinding as an unforgettable love triangle emerges and the eternal cycle of revenge intensifies. Eagerly awaited, this sequel to the internationally bestselling STARCROSSED delivers a gritty, action-packed love story that exceeds all expectations.
I am so ready to find out what happens next in the last book in this trilogy and I can see i'm gonna get heartbroken with something big that is coming and I don't know if they are all going to survive through it. Angelini your writing is amazing and I can't help but get absorbed into your books, I can't wait to see what you brings out next.

PLOT TWIST OF ALL PLOT TWIST:Pandora figures out that Helen can't be Ajax's daughter, and then Pandora dies.
In Dreamless you'll get your heart shred into million pieces and hit by a bulldozer truck.
The obvious sexual frustration when Lucas and Helen are in the same room will completely drive you mad in a whole different level. Can't Daphne just drop the bomb so the two can live happily ever after?
No of course not. There wouldn't be a book three if they just unveil the secrets right? And here comes Orion a new character who oozed perfection who will definitely turn Lucas and Helen's lives in Goddess.

This is the second book in the Starcrossed series. It will most definitely contain spoilers for the first book, unfortunately, but if you've read Starcrossed already, read on!
In the second installment of Helen’s story, she begins her journey into the underworld to try to conquer the Furies in order to restore peace between the four Greek houses. The task is arduous, draining her and leaving her looking and feeling like a zombie, as she spends all day keeping up with her life on Nantucket, keeping up with classes, running in track, researching Greek history with the Delos family, and working part time, and spends her nights running around deserts, drowning in bogs, and walking endlessly through harsh terrains as she tries to figure out how to fulfill her destiny.
Unexpected help comes, however, from a boy she meets in the underworld. Who is he, how can he be there, and can he be trusted?
Meanwhile, the Hundred Cousins have sent an insect-like assassin after her, her mother is MIA but still finding ways to wreak havoc in her life, the lesser-gods have descended onto Nantucket and are further complicating matters, and Lucas has turned into a class A jerk. Combine these headaches with the fact Helen hasn’t caught a wink of real sleep since her descending began, and you get a girl at her breaking point. Will she be able to fulfill her destiny?
This was a really good sequel. The author did an admirable job of recapping everything at the beginning of the book as to remind readers what had happened in Starcrossed but without rehashing things too much. There were enough unresolved problems in the first book to make me compelled to read the second, and I’m happy to say that the third looks even better. The drama, the introduction of new characters and new problems, and the continued obstacles the two lovers, Helen and Lucas, face combined to make a really addictive read.
I’m so happy to say that in just under half a year, the third book in the series, Goddess, will be released! I am definitely looking forward to reading it and hearing the conclusion of Helen’s story.
