I loved that Jack was obsessed with Presley the moment he laid eyes on her. Their chemistry was so electric and the spice was perfect. I loved Presley’s family and how they welcomed Jack. I definitely want to see more from Presley’s family and see more of Jack and Presley.

I’m a sucker for boss x employee and fake dating. This is my first read of Ann’s books and I will definitely be reading the others! I first read this in December ‘23 and I reread it in time for the ARC of Dylan & Marlow’s story. I loved how Johanna knew it was Presley’s boss the entire time. I laughed out loud at the gingerbread house competition and Lola’s pink icing landing in Dylan’s hair. I didn’t see the tree prank coming and the matching pajamas at the end. This is one of those books I wish I could read for the first time again.

Overall the book was cute! Not my usual read as I don’t love the instant love theme but this book was sweet. I love the one bed trope and the spice was well written! I’ve never read a holiday romance before, let alone in one sitting but I’ll have to start. The book was 150 pages so a quick read which was also nice.
If there had been a bit more build up of their relationship before the holidays it might’ve been more believable but that’s okay.
