This novella was a quick and cute read. Jack is the epitome of a grumpy workaholic who definitely kills the cheery holiday vibes. Our main character has worked as his assistant for three years and has dealt with him being sorta an asshole, but secretly he’s always been obsessed with her. When she decides to head home for the holiday’s he decides he has to come with and ends up pretending to be her boyfriend instead of her boss and also agrees to help her finish her holiday wishlist. I desperately wished this was a full length novel so we had more time to really work through the tension and get to know Jack’s softer side. I loved how the mc was always there to put him in his place (he deserved it 100%). I wish this didn’t have a mini third act breakup just because it’s so short and I just wanted them to be happy and together! But I loved the christmas vibes so so much and it’s a great quick read if you need to finish up your reading goal

This was a short and sweet novella, but because of its length, the plot definitely suffered.
But if insta-lust is something you don't mind, then you'll love this this. It's got all the holiday vibes, it's sweet and spicy, and it has a Grinch whose heart grows three sizes by the end.

Such a fun and enjoyable Christmas novella to put you in the holiday spirit and automatically also in a better mood. I have read all the other books in Ann’s Aspen Grove but this first novella so I wanted to wait until cosy season to read it and I’m so glad I finally read it.
Jack and Presley is just to die for!!! Is it a little hallmark-ish and is it cheesy at times? Yes but only the good kind of cheese!!! It’s also quite spicy and very Christmasy with the holiday wishlist and the whole winter wonderland setting of Aspen Grove.
This is truthfully one of the cutest novellas I have ever read. My grumpy billionaire boss Jack has totally captured my heart. There’s just something about a boss who finally realizes he’s been in love with his assistant for years. The secret pinning I could just imagine. Jack’s dynamic with Presley’s family was also so golden and especially with her brothers and with my favorite person Lola and also Johanna, lmaooo I loved her in this first book so much too.

This book singlehandedly sparked my mood to read holiday spicy romance

This is the true definition of hallmark with spice. I know that comparison is made with a lot of holiday romances lately, but out of all the holiday romances I’ve read, this one is the closest to a hallmark holiday romance (without the PG cleanliness

Super cute book! A great, fun, enjoyable, quick read. A perfect mix of Christmas, character growth, and sex. If you are looking for a feel-good Christmas story, definitely pick this up. I am also looking forward to reading the brothers relationships. I can tell they will be just as funny.
