This book was exactly as advertised - hallmark with spice. It was cute and cheesy, especially with its own holiday wishlist. However, I didn't like Jack. I understand he's the boss but I just felt like he was super rude? Plus I didn't think Presley and Jack had anything in common except work?! The spice was the best part of the book if I'm honest!

This was such a cute book. I loved seeing him admit his feelings.

I liked having this as a quick read to start my holiday reading!!

Since it’s a novella everything moved very quickly with their relationship but I liked the holiday spirit of all. Especially the FMC holiday wishlist of things she wants to do during the holidays!

I didn’t love the MMC and ultimately the he’s her boss tripe wasn’t for me but since it was dual POV I did get to enjoy the FMC chapters!

Thank you for the ARC!

cute christmas novella!! with spice
all the cheesy goodness of holiday hallmarks that i love
was there insta love? absolutely. cheese? yes. did i eat this up? also yes.

If only all grumpy bosses could be like Jack Sinclaire. Super cute and fun spicy holiday read.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Oh my god THIS WAS SO CUTE! When authors put out Christmas novellas, they tend to be really hit or miss for me. Unfortunately, most are misses but Ann Einerson absolutely slayed this. Jack Sinclair is Presley's boss and he's definitely a little bit of an a-hole. And of course, she's told her family all about it. So when Jack has to come with Presley home for Christmas (so that he can use her to close a business deal), instead of coming clean that he's said bad boss, he pretends to be her boyfriend.

It helps that he's had the hots for her for a while. ;D

The absolute TENSION between these two. And then the swoony scene at the end. But Ann also throws in an absolutely hilarious scene with Jack and Presley's brothers that had me practically rolling on the floor laughing.

I highly recommend this, especially if you're looking for something quick this holiday season!
