Super quick read and has all the normal charm of Meg Cabot. Definitely not as good as “All American Girl”
This sequel to American Girl was very cute. I love Sam's top 10 lists and she is still as funny and cute as she was in the first book.
*WARNING: There may be spoilers in this review, but big one's will be marked!*
Well this book was...interesting :) I loved it. I think a bit better than the first one. There was a different...feel to this one, that the other ones didn't have. There was a lot more talk of love and sex, and i honestly haven't read anything like it...Yet, i'm sure i'll find something similar, someday. I am kind of upset that this is the last (And second) book to the series. I really liked it! And it seemed that there was more to be told. () In a weird way- i feel that this book shouldn't be a sequel to [b:All-American Girl|19448|All-American Girl (All-American Girl, #1)|Meg Cabot|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1291882422s/19448.jpg|2610030]. It was just so...different. So if you liked the first one, you might not like this one as much, but if you didn't really enjoy the first one...than i''ll guarantee (But don't count on it) That you'll like this one. Or, you could be like me- who liked both of them, but this one a bit better.
-I might add more to this review, later, but for now- it's staying short :)

A warning to all who dare attempt; you must be: a. a girl and b.mature enough, this requires a tad bit higher maturity level than her other books...
4/24/24 wow I hope part 'a' was a joke. I honestly didn't like it, but I also clearly didn't have a high enough maturity level....

Besides not being well written, this book had nearly no redeeming factors. A story fueled by teen lust and angst--not just fueled by though, it's also the main plot and the subplots.
i enjoyed this book. i prefer the first one but it was still funny. i just kept getting mad that sam though that Parchessi meant sex in boy language since david said it:( other than that i liked it. ^_^

The pro birth control message was a surprise but a great one. Love Meg Cabot.
Reading anything by Meg Cabot is always a pleasure because she's such a brilliant writer. The book was interesting and comical but it wasn't her best work and the first book was much more entertaining. However I would recommend it to people who have read the first "All-American Girl" book.
