Kandi never disappoints!! Vince really falls hard for Maven I was obsessed with them. The banter between the two was so good. I can’t wait to read “Watch Your Mouth”.

Maven and Vince are THE power couple. Maven is the smart, independent, professional woman I want to be when I grow up and Vince is her number 1 fan (what everyone wants in a man). I loved how this book had SO much push and pull, will they won't they (of course they will), and it is SO worth the wait. Maven is skittish at first (rightfully so) and I loved how Vince was patient and showed her slowly that he was worthy of her love. This is truly hockey romance at its finest, I will truly read anything Kandi Steiner puts out because I KNOW it'll be a hit.

VINCE.TANEV – wow, we have all meet our match. We are football sports romance girlies that decided to give this hocky romance series a try since we are such big Kandi Steiner fans. We were not disappointed! This was a spicy angsty enemies to lovers read that was hard to put down. The banter was perfection, and we love a book that can make us giggle.
We love a “he falls first and harder” love story, and once Vince decided to go all in, he was patient for Maven to catch up to his feelings – even though it was the last thing he wanted to do.
The character development will have continuing with the series to find out what happens next.

3.5 stars. I would have ranked this a 4, however, while understandable, Mavens constant hang ups/insecurities about people with money got a bit annoying by 80%. Especially considering her best friend is also from the "rich entitled" class of people she thinks she could never have anything in common with, which sorta negates her entire argument. Plus she magically got over it in a single evening of item purging which,seeing as she has been in therapy for two years, you would think her therapist would have told her to get rid of the ex's stuff by now. I like the story just that particular plot point got sort of annoying after hearing her complain about it for the hundredth time.
I really enjoyed this book. Vince is definitely my fav but Maven had to grow on me a little bit because she was so damn stubborn towards her feelings! At the same time I understood why but all in all it turned out great in my opinion! Love them together !
