This is somewhat of a slow burn. But the book goes from slow to scorching and I loved it. This is a forced proximity story about a hot hockey rookie and an influencer. Maven is supposed to highlight Vinceโs rookie season. She does a fantastic job. Post go viral. The fans come out. As Maven is following Vinceโs season spark start to simmer. I really enjoyed this book! Loved the relationship between Maven and Vince. The sweet gestures Vince would sneak in. I loved the slight angst. I loved how hot this book was. Canโt wait for more Kings of the Ice.

This was my first book by her and I absolutely loved it!! Her writing was so beautiful, especially when both main characters were describing the other. True moments of love that you could feel radiating from the pages! Love, love, love!!
But be warned: there is so much angst!! Maven had my stomach in knots when she denied her love for Vince!
As Iโm now hooked, I will immediately be starting the second book!

Iโm not sure why a lot of people didnโt like this book? It had enemies to lovers & Maven being hesitant to fall for a guy who is just like her ex is understandable. She was being so hard headed & Tanev wanted to make her jealous, so the stripper scene makes sense. It got the exact reaction he wanted. Itโs not realistic but I like how it panned out. All these people complaining about that part definitely should not play hard to get then. Should just immediately give in LOL

Just couldnโt connect with characters. Too much push pull for me at the moment. The h felt too judgmental and I had a hard time getting past that. Love her writing and the other books Iโve read by her though. I want to read the next book but will probably give myself a breather in between.

I love a good sports romance! Vince is the hot shot rookie hockey player and Maven is the social media rep who gets an all access 24/7 pass to shadow Vince and give the fans an inside scoop! Neither of them thought theyโd catch feelings, but when they finally gave into the lust, it was hot! I didnโt enjoy the way they tried to make each other jealous, and I really didnโt like how mavenโs prior man and his family wrecked her. The resolution worked for me and Iโm looking forward to reading the next book in this Kings of Ice series!
