I had only read one of Kandi's books before and it didn't resonate with me that much. I had heard about this series and I am so glad I went for it. I listened to the audio for this one and I am absolutely hooked now!

Maven and Vince - OMG! The chemistry between these two is explosive! There are so many of my fave tropes in here which is why I couldn't wait to listen to it - enemies to lovers, kick ass banter, workplace romance, forced proximity.... I could go on and on.

When Maven first meets Vince at an event she is covering, she absolutely can't stand him. Then she is assigned to work with him 24/7 for a month and she is dreading it...until she isn't. Being together all the time in work and play, these two realize that maybe their first impressions weren't necessarily the best ones and that they both have a lot more to find out about each other. Suddenly they aren't enemies anymore and a friendship they didn't expect happens, and we all know what comes after the friendship.

Maven & Vince were great as a couple and more importantly for me, I liked each character individually. They both had issues which is always a plus for me. I want a little bit of drama or angst and not just a complete HEA in my books. Make them work for it.

This story gave me a lot of my favorite feels from a book. I laughed, I blushed, I smiled and honestly I just really enjoyed it.

The spice in this book...woooo **fans self**. Yep. Here for it.

I can't wait to read the rest of this series! I'm absolutely thrilled I gave Kandi another try and I think that she is going to become a fast favorite for me.

This book didn’t really stand out to me. It was okay but I would have like for the friendships to be built on more and also the romance to have a little more depth. Also the fact he calls her ‘pet’ gives me the ick

This book was steamy, I was hooked from the beginning their back and forth was top notch! The enemies to lovers was done really well and the tension was definitely there! I’m excited for the next book in the series, it definitely caught my eye also love that it’s set in florida. It’s pro-hockey, it’s spicy, her backstory and her growth were really well done.

Wow, Meet Your Match was fantastic with all the banter, angst, tension you could cut with a skate, and spiciness! Maven is enjoying her new job and hoping to make an impact in the area she loves most, but means she has to put her time in first. Leading to her meeting the hot rookie of the Tampa hockey team, Vince Tanev at a charity gala. Immediately the banter and chemistry is off the charts with these two, but Maven has her mind made up about Vince that she writes him off right away. Vince is intrigued by Maven since she isn’t falling at his feet like most women usually do. Then life throws them together, life as a rookie with 24/7 access for a month. Now Maven has to follow Vince around and make her bosses happy or she won’t get what she wants. Vince is determined to win Maven over, but his flirty behavior and constant remarks make Maven lock her heart even more. The more time these two spend together the tension builds and man you will be on the edge of your seat devouring to see if these two give in to their connection or continue as professionals who work together. I loved Vince and Maven’s story. It will give you all the feels and have you wanting more by the end! Plus, all of Vince’s teammates will have you laughing at their banter and shenanigans.

An amazing start to what I know is going to be one of my favorite series! Vince was absolutely swoon worthy and I loved his vulnerability and heart. He deserves to be protected at all costs
