Her job is to spend 24/7 with him for a month

I loved the idea of getting to know the player and posting for the fans to get to know Vince, that concept is so different. This book was so good, I loved seeing a softer side to Vince and learning about his hobbies. The banter between Vince and Maven was beautifully written and their chemistry was so good. I love how close they are with their families and their friends. Also, I loved that there was actual hockey happening in the book and we got to see the action. I loved that Vince was able to show Maven that not all rich athletes are snobs and that he was able to help her finally get over past experiences with her ex. I was so glad when that their families got along and that Vince’s family welcomed Maven with open arms. Another thing, don’t forget that the spice was perfectly steamy, you will love it. I can’t wait to read about Grace and Jaxson next. I hope to see Livia and Will get their own books, they deserve it.

Wow what a great start to the series!

Maven - boho sassy plant mom photographer

Vince - Rookie NHL right winger - playboy extroverted cocky but can back it up

Mavens dream is to photograph and work with communities that help others. Before she can do that, she has to follow Vince around for a month doing a behind the scenes all access to his life and post it on social media.

- forced proximity
- rivals kinda to lovers
- banter

Why did I let this sit on my tbr for so long?!! Think I’ve found my next hockey romance series to obsess over! This was such a fun read. The banter and tension between Maven and Vince was delicious. I really loved Maven’s character and her genuine connection with Vince Tanev, the reformed playboy who falls so hard for her. I honestly liked all of these characters and I’m super excited to continue the series.

A pro-hockey romance book written by Kandi Steiner? Yes, please!

This was so so good!!! I was so excited for Kandi's pro-hockey series and this was the perfect start! Opposites attract, forced proximity, he falls first, his hobby is pottery... need I say more?!

Vince and Maven are amazing! From the moment they meet, you can feel the sizzling attraction between them, which increases with every interaction until they burn together!

It has taken me a bit to put into words how I feel about this book. Kandi most definitely kicked off this new hockey series with a bang! Vince Tanev is a book boyfriend everyone is going to fight over. Maven was such a fun heroine, I adore how she was written. She knew how to handle Vince and it made for the most amazing banter. Their chemistry was intoxicating. They managed to turn some pretty simple and plain things into the most intensely hot scenes!

Vince and Maven are strong, captivating characters on their own but together they are even better. I couldn’t get enough of their banter. It was probably my favorite part. I mean the sex was hot too but the banter had me laughing. I was able to really appreciate their relationship because it had a strong foundation and wasn’t just based on sex.

I have always loved the way Kandi writes football romance. Right now with hockey romance as hot as it is, I was thrilled to see she was diving into that world and hopeful that it would be just as amazing. Kandi did not disappoint. She wrote such an amazing story and incorporated just enough hockey to keep it interesting. I am excited to see what else this series has in store for us!
