My First Kandi Steiner book and boy was I not disappointed!
I’m a sucker for a hockey romance and this was was right up my alley.

ARC Review - Meet Your Match by @kandisteiner
It’s no surprise to anyone on my page that I’m a huge fan of Kandi Steiner. Her books and her writing style really speak to me. I also think she might be the most genuine person on bookstagram-she is truly grateful for every single reader that she has and takes the time to make us all know that she appreciates us. I realize that taking the time to answer all her DMs and share everyone’s edits probably takes as much time as a full time job, but Kandi does it and it just warms my heart every time. 5 followers or 50k, Kandi shows how much she appreciates her readers.
Now that I’ve gushed about Kandi, let’s talk about the book! Meet Your Match releases on July 7 and I can’t wait for everyone to meet Maven & Vince. Vince plays it off like he’s your typically hockey star playboy, but he’s actually really sweet (when he’s not trying to make Maven jealous). And Maven is so driven, even if she’s not 100% sure what she wants to do, she knows she wants to make changes in the world and she’s working hard towards that. Together they are all explosive chemistry. But Maven has been burned before by the smooth talking, rich, pretty boy athlete and she is not about to let history repeat itself.
I loved this book so much. Maven being scared to jump into anything because she’s been hurt before (even when Vince was showing her he wasn’t that guy) was all too relatable. Their chemistry was amazing and we got just enough of the side characters to have me chomping at the bit for the next books in the series! The banter between our MCs as well as the side characters was so good. I love this new little world Kandi has created.
Kandi thank you so much for the ARC. I absolutely loved Vince & Maven and I’m so excited for everyone to read this on July 7!

Maven has been tasked with managing social media for Tampa’s newest hotshot hockey rookie, Vince. At first, she think he’s like all the other rich athletes and can’t stand him. He thinks she’s gorgeous and he wants her. The forced proximity and the steam was so good. The moments when they would get jealous were so hot. Loved how Vince understood Maven had been hurt before and he was patient. The conflict was short and resolved easily. I’m already excited for the next in this new hockey series!
