I know nothing about hockey but I am in love with this book!
The forced proximity was the icing on the cake with this one!

Bad writing, FMC was rude but there's no coming back from the MMC calling her a bitch

It's been a hot minute since I've read a hockey romance and this didn't dissapoint.

I loved the banter between the mmcs and I loved the smut in this book.
Can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Listen. This is how you do enemies to lovers. The banter? Sharp as a knife. The chemistry? Off the charts. The tension? So thick you could cut it. From start to finish, Meet Your Match had me absolutely hooked.

Olivia and Levi’s dynamic is the kind of push-and-pull that makes you want to scream in frustration but also melt from how good it is. These two cannot stand each other at first, and Kandi Steiner does not hold back on the tension. The pranks, the competition, the absolutely electric energy between them? Chef’s kiss. And when things start shifting? When the hate starts turning into something else? Yeah, I felt that.

One thing I love about Steiner’s writing is how much depth she gives her characters. This isn’t just a fun, flirty enemies-to-lovers story—there’s heart here. Olivia and Levi aren’t just two people bickering for fun; they’ve got history, layers, and real emotions that make their love story feel so earned. And the way everything unfolds? Absolutely perfect.

I’ve seen mixed reviews on this one so I didn’t really have high expectations when reading it. It was just an average hockey romance. I didn’t love it and I didn’t hate it but it was nothing special.

I could go into heavy detail.. and I will go into heavy detail
