Maven was so annoying at times. I get being hurt and scared, but she was so judgmental of Vince. The miscommunication was too much at times. But it was a fun read.

I absolutely LOVED this book. The banter and tension were perfection, and I love a good workplace romance. The only part that rubbed me the wrong way, (spoilers) was when Vince was constantly using other women to make Maven jealous. I personally am not a huge fan of that being used in books, but like I said that’s a personal thing. I did absolutely fall in love with the team dynamic, and can tell this is a great start to a new hockey romance series!
