I’ve seen mixed reviews on this one so I didn’t really have high expectations when reading it. It was just an average hockey romance. I didn’t love it and I didn’t hate it but it was nothing special.
I could go into heavy detail.. and I will go into heavy detail
I loved this one; devoured it in a day.

i really wanted their plane to catch fire and explode in the air. this was sooo badddd so badd!!!!!! i tried so hard not to dnf and i had like two chapters left but then i just couldn’t take another second of it. like im emailing audible and getting my freakin credit back it was so bad
I loved this one.
I’ve been unlucky with most of romance books I’ve read this year but this one was a true, true gem and one I came across without realizing it is by the author of ‘Love Letter to Whiskey’ (one of all time faves).
It had heart, fluff and spice all in one. I shook my head at the antics and the elaborate ways the two MCs came up with to deny (in one case) and try to ignore (in the other) the growing feeling between them. I loved them both so much and I rooted for them like crazy to defy the statistics. I teared up for them, too.
One for the books.

Thank you Kandi Steiner for getting me out of my book slump with this one
