I loved Vince with every fiber in my body. Maven wasn’t my favorite but I was able to tolerate her. She has her own demons to get over, and it took her 85% of the book to reach that goal.

i won’t even lie, Maven King stressed me the hell out 😭 i just hate a mc that self sabotages! like stop stressing both of us out woman! just reading her feelings and how Vince had to deal with her and what she was feeling made me feel like i aged a decade. his emotional maturity was really refreshing, and i hate it took so long for Maven to face the facts, BUT HEY, A WIN IS A WIN 😝
and before i forget, VINCE IS A FUCKING WHORE OH MY GOD?? WHY DOES HE HAVE ME BRICKED TALKING TO MAVEN LIKE THAT?? WHAT SORCERY IS WRITTEN IN THESE PAGES CAUSE IT NEEDS TO BE BOTTLED‼️😭

This book sucks so bad that I cannot go on. The characters are so absolutely immature that it's giving me a headache. I kept hoping that it would get better or that the spice would be worth it. It's NOT! I cannot stand petty FMCs. Maven really needed to grow up. Vince was the more likeable character but barely. This was definitely not the book for me.
