Incredibly well written mystery. The subject matters are sensitive, but it handled carefully.

The build up to parent trivia night for fund raising at the elementary school where someone dies is masterfully done.

There is a fun twist that adds to the motive- I figured it out at about 45%. Of course now I think I am gifted! Haha. But I genuinely did not know who died or who did it.

I have really been enjoying Liane Moriarity’s books and this is now the 3rd I have read. I know that there is a TV series which has had good reviews but I don’t think that I am going to watch it as, even from the trailer and the fact that they have made a 2nd series, I think that they have taken some liberties with the story. As I did really enjoy the book I don’t want to spoil the story with a televised copy.

Looking forward to the next Liane book!

This was the first Liane book I read and I finished it in 24 hours because it was just so good! I'm a fan of the show as well *cue theme song* I love the way she writes these amazingly realistic characters that are so endearing and interesting to read even if they're flawed.
