Another great entry in this series! I actually enjoyed Aury and Ghost more than Edin and Hunter and I loved those two!

I was curious when the Rycke was mentioned in book 1 if he’d get a book and I’m so glad he did!

Aury is the sweetest, softest cinnamon roll there ever was…until you f**k with Ghost. Then all bets are off. Aury is the definition of “touch him and you die (all of you, dead).”

Watching Ghost and Aury’s relationship develop was seriously so cute. I know it’s a dystopian, monster book and there’s always an underlying plot and something going on, but so far these books have all given me the warm fuzzies 🥰

I seriously cannot recommend this series enough 💕

Re-read 2025

This one had me straight up bawling towards the end! Ghost is probably my favorite human in the series so far - and Aury is so sweet it kills me. This series just keeps getting better and better. On to the next!

aury is my precious little goblin shark bat boy, love him or gtfo!

this was v sweet, a little insta-lovey but it’s ok. it was cool to see more of this dystopian world and i’m v intrigued to what’s happening w that weirdo monster collector lady.

This was me least favorite of the books so far. I liked learning about Aury and the way the world is connecting, particularly with the camp and more characters but the relationship between Aury and Gage didn’t make total sense to me. I also felt like the book didn’t do much other than slowly wait for Aury to recover and for him and Gage to start a romance and that was kind of it. They still hard a charming romance but it wasn’t as compelling as the other books for me.

Thank GOD this book was short. I did not like this one that much, it was so meh like omfg.

Both Ghost and Aury have the personality of a soggy wet blanket. MEH.

They were too cute for my liking. And it makes it worse how fast they got together. TOO FAST.

Aury's whole thing is how he looks like "cinnamon roll that could kill you". I felt so underwhelmed when it was revealed his form that's super destructive. It was just ok.

On top of that, there's not that much plot. Actually, the small amout of plot is used to set up the next book, which I despise.

A fast read as usual, but I got nothing from this.
