Listen we know what we're reading and why
Now maybe it was the audiobook voice actor's character choice but I can't describe this other than a tumblr user's fanfic

U feel me?

2025 reread: yes I feel u and I stand by that description. H OW E V E R how did I not note that the CHICKENS were all named after DRAG QUEENS!? Iconic

These two sweet marshmallows melt my heart! I LOVE them so much!

I keep falling in love with every monster that Lily Mayne manages to throw in front of me. And everyone is my favourite until I meet the next one.

I really loved Aury and Gage. I could identify with Gage’s struggle with crippling anxiety and I’m so happy his best friend Rig and his mate Aury helped him to learn to deal with his brain when panic started flaring.

And Moth is slightly irritating in this book but also he’s the star of book 5 and a cinnamon roll who we all love so that’s that.

Anyway, another great story by Mayne!
