Aku suka dengan karakter perempuannya, terutama George, yang aku yakini sedang mengalami gender dysphoria juga Anne yang cengeng tapi juga penyayang. Sedangkan untuk laki2nya, menurutku karakternya kurang berkesan dan menonjol (maybe it’s just me). Dari segi ceritanya juga lumayan seru untuk ukuran buku anak. Konfliknya juga walaupun tidak selesai, tapi akhir ceritanya cukup memuaskan. Petualangannya juga fresh dan mudah dinikmati

My dad read this book when he was a child and I must say, he has good taste!
(I also read this book when I was younger, but I never continued with the rest of the series. This time around, I would like to read the sequels too -- but perhaps not all of them because there are more than 20 (!) books)
