Listened to this in the car all week; great pacing and suspense and the narrator's voice was great.
I am over these kind of books. Once upon a time I used to devour these but now, I wasn’t looking forward to read/finish this book. I wasn’t interested in the characters or the story. It was pretty bland. I couldn’t bring myself to finish it. Yes, I can still review because I read enough to know I didn’t like it.
A story of an entire wealthy family kidnapped and held hostage.
This was a fantastic thriller with many twists and turns.
Towards the end you just want to keep reading to see how it's going to end.

Lisa Gardner improves with each book she writes. I loved the plot, the pacing, the characters, and she is so good at dialog! This is the kind of writing I truly enjoy...a straight-ahead story that doesn't need gimmicks.
I give this book four stars not because I loved it but because it was extremely well written and really kept you guessing. I didn't love the theme of kidnapping, family dysfunction, and deception; kinda depressing. It did keep you at the edge of your seat, and you wonder whodunnit until the very end of the book. Good read, just not an uplifting happily-ever-after theme.

This was my first time reading a Thriller by Lisa Gardner so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say i LOVED it especially when it grabbed me at my heart strings and got into my emotions in a way that no other Thriller has before.
The Characters were so interesting to read about. I do admit The Denbe's are my favorite characters even tho everything they went through wasnt right but it wasnt Libby and Ashlyn's fault since Justin put them in those situations.
The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in Beacon Bay while reading.
Overall a Phenomenal Thriller in this series and by Lisa, one of THE BEST ive read in awhile!!
Can't wait to read more by Lisa in the future!!

Another great story from Lisa Gardner! I soooo love her books! This one had me guessing until the end..even when I thought I knew...I didn't quite know.
