really cute love story!

The story premise was very cute, but the voice was juvenile and the themes were a little one-note. I wish it had been more detailed and fleshed-out and more time was spent on nuance and build-up. The resolution after the climax felt especially rushed to “happily ever after”. Overall a quick and fun (if superficial) read.

Main character was way too shallow and oblivious. Storyline was just ok. Hard for me to believe some of it.

This was really cute! For a romance novel, there was some pretty excellent character development and I LOVE that one of the supporting characters was a lovable dog.

3.5⭐️ I enjoyed the story, and liked that it was a clean romance. Parts of the story, though, seemed like they were just added to try to create conflict, but weren’t really fleshed out well. The male mc seemed too perfect, and with the female mc, it’s hard to believe that someone who went to college and lived with her friend didn’t learn any life skills…I can see where she may not know everything, but some of her tasks you’d think one would’ve learned how to do when she was living away from home in school. Overall, there were some funny parts and some sweet parts, but I’d have liked to see the characters a little more developed and some of the plot not feel like it was an after thought. It was a light, cute fluff read.

I just finished this book and like the all the other ones I have read by Sariah Wilson, this one, too, did not disappoint. This book was one that made me want to keep picking it up to read. I don’t often find books like that. I haven’t read a book by Wilson that I didn’t thoroughly enjoy. If you are looking for a book with a good story, some very witty dialogue, and some laugh out loud moments…then this is the book for you.

Cute and fun

The story definitely has its cheesy moments, but I enjoyed it overall. Some of the characters have some comedic lines, which were great! I was hoping for a steamier romance, but Tyler and Madison were likeable enough that I could live without it. Something I could have lived without was the world of shallow, rich people. It felt a little farfetched most of the time.
