⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 for the plot

I loved Older Male Mc in the Doctor book.... But a cougar with her Best friends son Gave me the Ick..... I think a cougar may have been ok if it wasn't so close to home but i was cringing alot during this read......

A Surprisingly Great Story

Normally I stay far away from the older woman younger man trope. I’ve never seen it executed well in the past so it has left me a little gun shy. However because I really loved the previous series I read by this author I decided to give this story a try. I was pleasantly surprised. This was simply put a great story. I know my preference usually borders on the ridiculous over the top stuff but this was a mellow down to earth book. The story was engaging and inviting. These two characters simply fell in love. And while that was a problem for some people the bottom line is they did nothing wrong. They simply loved each other. Add in the extra spice on the spicy scenes and you’ve got 4 very well earned stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I’d definitely read this again.

3.5 stars

I loved this book.

The romance and chemistry between Erika and Troy? Amazing.
The smut? A+
The plot and story line? Excellent.

I'm already looking into Nikki Sloane's backlist to see what else I can read from her.

Nikki wrote a great story, it was crazy hot and the characters were enjoyable. I’m looking forward to the next one in the series.
lighthearted medium-paced

Smut was good. I'm not a fan of the singer/manager trope and singing song lyrics in a story gives me the yuck. I didnt know too much about the story going in but it was cute. The ending dragged a little. Listened to the audio in 1 day.

Another one I read in a day and could not put down! I was grabbed from the beginning with interest. This is a Cougar romance and boy was it hot! I was rooting for both characters together and in their separate lives, just ate this whole thing up.

Spice: 4/5
Book Boyfriend: 4/5

Whew this was spicyyy. It should be expected with this series but this was hot. I love the forbidden aspect of the books in this series and it really adds another level of anticipation when reading. Such a good addition.
