DID NOT FINISH

DNF. 8% No rating. I just can’t. It’s too problematic for me with bad lgbtq representation and bad body positivity and also the blurb didn’t say anything about this being a rock/country star romance which is NOT my jam (See what I did there). Personal things that might not bother others. On to other reads.
lighthearted fast-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: Complicated
Loveable characters: Complicated
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

.
I was so excited to jump into book two after book three cause I enjoyed it so much. I just didn’t like the female that much in book two. Erika newly divorced I know she wanted a fresh start, but she just went so fast. I didn’t feel a lot of character development. Troy was a very interesting character, I enjoyed how he seemed mature for his age. He was working hard for what he wants in his life. Their relationship was very much sex heavy, I didn’t get a lot of other things out of it. I still thought the ending was good.

Don’t miss The Pool Boy by Nikki Sloane!

These Nashville Neighborhood books by Nikki Sloane are like potato chips, you can’t stop at just one! Thankfully there are more to read and available now!

This book is one of my favorite tropes, I mean you can never go wrong with a reverse age gap story. Erika is newly divorced and coming to terms with her new normal. But what she isn’t ready for is the reaction to her best friends 24 year old son and his reaction to her. This is a steamy quick read that will suck you in and keep you invested in Erika and Troy’s story. Will they shut the world out and take a chance on each other?

This is the second book in the Nashville Neighborhood series and I am definitely going to be reading the rest!! Don’t miss you on these!
