I FUCKING LOVE THIS BOOK! One of my all time favorites. The tropes are everything and so much more. Their relationship is just I love them. And the angst AND THE SPICE! Everything was just giving exactly what I wanted and needed. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve read this. Too many to count if I’m being honest. It’s just I can’t get over these two. And I never want to. Reverse age gap, best friends son, forbidden, need I say more. NO. Just if you haven’t read it go read it. Like rn

Not bad, just not my thing and I didn’t realise that until I was reading it.
The steamy scenes are v good tho.

I have a lot of mixed feelings about this book. On one hand I liked how sweet but also steamy the relationship is. While I don't love the fact that they've known each other since he was at least a teen, it didn't feel like he was groomed and she never shows any sort of interest until he is an adult. But honestly none of that could make up for some of the fatphobic rhetoric that is established from the beginning and kept reoccurring.
