Age-gap romance story where you will get immersed from the very start, Erika and Troy's story is amazing, there is little angst but overall it's a very sweet nice romance. The chemistry and steam between the characters are hot, they both compliment each other and the story-line has a very well done built up. You will love this book as much as their characters. Five stars!
The Pool Boy surprised me! It was oh so steamy but it also had a really enjoyable story line. Erika is in her forties and starting over and here comes the pool boy fantasy come true with her best friends son. He turns out to have talents outside of pool cleaning which brings the good story line into this book. I love when music is written about in the books I read. This Nashville based book was a great one!
This age-gap, workplace romance was 🥵❤️🔥 & I was here for it. Recently divorced music manager, Erika, has a risqué encounter with her pool boy, Troy, who just happens to be her best friend’s son. Neither is interested in making their tryst a one-time thing & they are 🔥 together. They end up working together as Erika starts to figure out who she is post-divorce and Troy starts believing in himself to make his dreams come true. What I liked best was that they seemed like a team the whole time & neither was more important than the other.
It was also fun to read about some Nashville locations! Book 2 in a 4 book series but can be read as a standalone.

IT IS A GREAT PALATE CLEANSER. BUUUUT IF YOU WANT SMUT BUT NO SUBSTANCE, THEN THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU. S LOTS OF STEAM BUT VERY MINIMAL CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. NO EMOTIONAL CONNECTIONS BETWEEN THE TWO MC'S. THIS IS ONE OF THOSE STORIES WHERE I WHEN I LOVE YOUS ARE EXCHANGED YOU QUESTION HOW HECK DID THEY GET THERE??!

Plot or Character Driven:
A mix
I went in not thinking I was going to like this very much but I was wrong! I'm not huge into the age gap or cougar trope but the more I read of it the more I find that I like. I definitely loved how former characters were mentioned and we got to see a glimpse of where they are currently. I still enjoyed Greg and Cassie's story a little bit better but this was a close second and look forward to reading the third.
