Good book. Loved learning new things about the shadow world.

I’m not gonna lie when I was reading The Infernal Devices and Tessa was speaking about reading the Codex so often all I wanted was my own copy. I am not disappointed in the slightest by this book. It’s exactly what I hoped it would be and I love it for that. The liner notes from Jace, Clary and Simon make it so much better and added some extra humour. I love this book

I really liked this! I found this really interesting and with the feel of an official book that is was supposed to look like. Good way to answer a lot of background story questions fans have.

This was a great read I loved the little written comments from Clary, Jace and Simon and I love the Jonathon and David love story part.

Good, an interesting text to go with the series but I am not a huge fan of trying to read notes around the text that are in a handwriting font.

This is filled with stories and stuff that helped me understand the Mortal Instruments/Infernal Devices series. Plus it had me laughing at several points (Simon's footnotes were the best).
