Kirja on kyllä mahdottoman hienon näköinen kaikkine sisäkansien piirrustuksineen.
A true guide to the world of Shadow hunters, academic, amazing art, funny side comments, like a text book
informative
Loved reading all of Clary, Jace, and Simon's comments to each other
I love how we were able to read and learn almost everything, most of the things I wanted to know where explained here. Cassie thank you for all you've done. really thank you
This book is an interring add on the shadowhunter books. You don't need to read this book to get the adder books by Clare.
Illustrazioni bellissime.

I am honestly quite surprised to give this book five stars, but I cannot lie when I say that this book was surprisingly enjoyable. It was great to get a more in depth look into the Shadowhunters world and the concept of this book with the annotations from the characters from the series (Clary, Jace and Simon) was really clever and enjoyable. These comments were often hilarious and the art in this book was gorgeous as well!
With interesting details about this fantasy world, The Shadowhunter’s Codex by Cassandra Clare and Joshua Lewis is a book that contains information about the Nephilim and the Shadow World. It’s a book read by every Shadowhunter in the fictional world created by Cassandra Clare.
The book is supposed to be the one owned by Clary, in which notes have been made by Clary, Jace and Simon, characters in The Mortal Instruments. Readers get to read their witty humour and feel part of their world as if they’re reading the very book that these characters used to touch and write in.
I feel that the information is well compiled. I find it interesting how Shadowhunters are often referred to as “she”. Anyway, I absolutely love the notes Clary, Simon and Jace make. I also love the drawings Clary, well, drew in the book. They’re so good! This book really made me feel like I was becoming a Shadowhunter myself and was doing my dutiful studies.
I recommend this book to people who enjoyed The Mortal Instruments and don’t mind reading what seems like a textbook. It’s really cool to read a book filled with compact information about Shadowhunters, Marks, demons and Downworlders, among others. The Appendix at the end of the book also shows readers two pieces of history, which are very interesting to read about.
