Literalmente un libro de texto, pero de cazadores de sombras. Cuenta algunas cosas interesantes del mundo, pero se hace eterno de leer.

Not going to lie, I skimmed a lot of this. Nothing really new or that interesting. Reads like a textbook. I like that Clary, Jace, and Simon scribble notes in the book. But even most of their notes are about how boring this book is and to skip sections 😂. Cool illustrations make this fun to flip through but not something I would sit and read start to finish.

Interesting but overall boring.

justice for the codex lt was such a fun read all of clary and simon’s annotations were hilarious but jace’s especially always took me out.

learned quite a surprising amount considering i've read like 15 other shadowhunters books. loved it!

Some of the bits were intresting so were not. It was really funny with the "charaters" writing and having a convesation and Clarys drawings were really good (as always). I have to give it 2 starts because it wasnt the best book and plus it was more of an imfomation book and the shadow world and not a story book.

My favourite thing about this is the notes scribbled in by Clary, Simon and Jace. They were clear in character and very amusing. I loved the thoughts put in for things like different hand writing.

Although this book taught me little that I did not already know I am glad to see it complete and feel like I have an overall better understanding of what it is to be part of the Shadow World.

I read this book after completing Clockwork Angel, so I felt a connection to Tessa while reading this.
